With an IRATA - 3 certification, Jim's expertise spans the Renewable Sector, Industry & Bridges. A veteran
in Swedish wind turbine projects with extensive experience spanning Enercon, Siemens, Vestas, GE, and Nordex. Jim brings with him several years of global offshore experience in NDT from BINDT and excels
in Quality & Safety.

Jim's contributions have been pivotal. Before joining AltiClimb, his portfolio included extensive global NDT offshore services and serving as the sole acting operations manager in a company that expanded from 30M SEK to 80M SEK within three years in the renewables sector. At AltiClimb, his accomplishments span reactor and caisson installations, maintenance for the Högakustenbron and Älvsborgsbron, NDT projects at Scandinavian refineries, chimney stabilization, and the renowned Hisingsbron construction to name a few.

Per Forsberg
HS Engineer

 

Experience

Per Forsberg is recognized as one of the foremost experts with over 15 years of rope access experience, 13 years of IRATA training, and 6 years as a health and safety engineer in Sweden.

Expertise

An IRATA Level 3 and IRATA Instructor, Per brings a wealth of training experience within the IRATA system, confined space training (including respiratory protection), lifting operation training, rescue methods, and more. His unique combination of IRATA Instructor and health and safety engineer allows him to holistically evaluate all aspects of work at height. His broad knowledge spans diverse industries, including rope access, general industry, chemical hazards, PPE, arborist work, and more. Per is an appointed expert in CEN committees for personal protective equipment and climbing equipment.

Notably, Per has contributed as a committee member of the IRATA equipment & standards committee
and holds an appointed expert role in CEN committees for personal protective equipment and climbing equipment. His expertise extends to serving as a health and safety engineer, specializing in work at height and confined spaces. Per has also developed customized training programs for clients in confined space, lifting operations, rescue methods, and more. His insightful consultations encompass
work at height, risk assessments, confined space work, façade access, and the prevention of dropped
