We are currently the preferred contractor for one of Scandinavians largest engineering companies, COWI. Högakustenbron, Älvsborgsbron, Uddevallabron are just some of highest and largest bridges in the portfolio.

Jim Fenn has worked on some of the largest bridges both in and out of Scandinavia as has Martin Peoples whom to date has inspected and worked on over 200 bridges in Europe.

Case: We have been trusted on the Högakustenbron with the execution of a pioneering project to systematically measure the current pre-tension in main-hanger clamp bolts before re-tensioning to the design load. Bespoke manufactured heads and a hydraulic system allow us to pre-tension with pressures over 1200 Psi.

Results: This work has obvious challenges with respect to operating at heights as much as 185m up on the restricted space of a main cable. There is the additional precautions and discipline required to operate the high pressure equipment safely. AltiClimb AB were able to maintain safety and a steady to fast pace even in difficult weather conditions. The ongoing works with our self sufficient team are running smoothly, systematically and confidently without drama and without interfering with other works on the bridge.

Again we are utilising our our browser/app application to abstract and rapport the data accumulated which is of course available live to the client from their remote office.
